Beer & Wings
It all started with wing night. The Asbery Boys would buy chicken wings, french fries and beer every Friday after work. It was a great way to kick off the weekend. One night after crushing 30 wings, 6 beers and 2 back to back episodes of Maury, they thought to Themselves; what if we made our own chicken and beer? Fast forward, They are proud home brewers. They also make bomb buffalo, Lemon Pepper, and Jerk wings.
WE ARE LOOKING TO GROW
(THE BEER)
Currently, we are limited. We can only make IPAs and Ales (dark beers). At the moment, the popular Lagars (light beers) are beyond our brewing capabilities. We are looking to invest in a temperature controlled fermentation system. That is the key to making refreshing Lagers.
What we have.
We started with a basic beer brewing kit from Northern Brewer. Recently, we acquired a conical fermentor with temperature control.
What we need
To make the more popular light beers, we need to invest in Glycol Chiller. This will allow us to have better and more consistent temperature control at low temperatures for our fermentations. The will greatly increase the quality of our lagars.

How it Works
Fermentation can take anywhere from 4 to 8+ weeks per 5 gallon batch. Darker beers (like the ones we are brewing) can ferment at room temperature (70F). If you have an empty closet it’s easy to store a fermenter inside of it and wait 2 to 4 weeks for the beer to ferment. However, it’s extremely difficult to ferment beer at consistent cool temperatures (around 37 to 42°F), which is required for the more popular Lagers (light beers). Currently we are using cold water to chill out fermentation. The Glycol Chiller uses a cooling agent (Glycol) rather than water to consistently chill your fermentation for long periods of time.
